8/15 ~ San Quentin

1995 USAIDS 5,000
(20th Anniversary Pictorial Tour)
Post #59:
Tour day included complimentary breakfast at The Black Stallion (a famous gay bed and breakfast on Castro Street), visits to The Sausage Factory, Castro Theatre in the district, a subway ride downtown to catch a cable car to Frisco Bay, and Fisherman’s Wharf, with none other than San Quentin as a backdrop for the perfect photo op. It was a lot to absorb in those precious few hours. (Only pics today, folks, no story.)

(Left) is a mini-menu from the restaurant we had dinner at, and after dinner, I took this nice picture of Carl Lebman (Right) with the San Francisco Bay and San Quentin as a backdrop.  (Both from August 15, 1995)
