Post #12:
Greenwich Village was home to Bailey House, then, (http://www.baileyhouse.org/) and Incentra Village House, now, (http://incentravillage.com/). One serves as home for persons with HIV/AIDS, the other is a cottage resort. Carl Lebman and I were fortunate to visit both. (Each Picture has more details.)

As
a general rule, we did not photograph clients of HIV/AIDS services of
any type, unless the individuals agreed to be photographed. Stephan
(pronounced Stefon) was discharged from the Air Force, after it was
learned he had HIV. He was further discharged from his family, and
lived at Bailey House. He struggled with his health, even while we were
there, yet his spirit was a shining light in that huge city. Carl and
I met several residents during lunch, at Bailey House, and toured the
facility. (Picture from June 10, 1995)

We were privileged guests at Incentra Village House, right there in Greenwich Village. I believe it is Toby (left in picture) that was the current owner/manager, and his partner/worker on the right. It was a great place to stay, and the facility can host many more guests, some 20 years later. (Picture from June 10, 1995)
